Grief is a part of life.  It is not absurd that people act different in regards to how they personally handle the loss of a loved one.  Some people cry.  Some people break things.  Some people make changes in their life.  Some pick up a bottle.  The truth is, everyone is different.  We all react to things based on a combination of who we are and where we come from.  The following store goes a little beyond that…

In Detroit, Clarence Bright passed away at the age of 93.  His funeral was held in the beginning of January, and his family and friends mourned his death.  He was slated to be buried in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Meanwhile, his son, driven with regret at the death of his father, concocted a different sort of plan.  Having been highly devoted to his religion and God, and not understanding why this could happen to a good man, decided that God had made a mistake.  He told his friends and family that he was going to take his father’s body, put it in a freezer, and pray over it until God returned his father to him.  True kudos to having some faith!

Unfortunately, the police were tipped off when the body showed up missing, and easily found him with his white conversion van that he was using to move the body.  Even more ironic, he found someone to help him – and both himself, and his accomplish, were arrested.

His father now lies peaceably buried in his cemetery plot.
